I opened the cabinet, and that jar of lentils reminded me of a flat stone wall I’d photographed on one of my walks from Little River to Mendocino.


The other night I watched The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry, and near the end there’s a scene with a glass orb in a hospice window. It reminded me of a similar orb I’d photographed in a store window in Mendocino a year or so ago.
